Review the Components of a Superior, High-Quality Retractable Awning

The Swiss design and engineering of our lateral arms are subjected to 10,000 cycles and use springs of class “C” steel according to E Norm standards. The cables are Swiss-made, 3mm Stainless Steel with a poly coating to reduce sound during operation of the retractable awning. All arms are powder coated using 100% polyester materials after a multi-bath primer surface preparation that insures best possible adhesion of the finish material. The finish is .05 to .07 mm. in thickness and is environmentally safe.

• Components: Items such as Front Rails, Bottom Bars, Box Profiles are all of extruded 6060 T6 certificated aluminum alloy and are powder coat finished.

• Aluminum Parts: Such as Wall Brackets, Roller Supports, Arm Supports are expertly Die-Cast or Injection molded. They are then powder coated for a superior finish.

• Plastic Parts: such as Side Caps, Hook Rings, Roller tube end Gudgeons, are all injected molded using PA, with fibers, POM or ABS materials as appropriate.

• Manual Operation Gears are Bevel Gear for smooth manual operation of awnings. The gears are available in gear reduction ratios of 3.5 and 3.4 to 1.
