Awning Description
This is by far our most popular retractable awning. The compact and attractive Premium awning was designed for overall protection of a porch, deck, terrace and patio at homes and restaurants. Swiss engineering and design assures highest quality materials, heavy duty construction, clean neat lines and a thoroughly wonderful smooth extension and retraction even in windy conditions.
The Premium Retractable Awning is based on proven and patented triangular back bar technology, and its universal mounting brackets allow for wall, ceiling, or rafter installation, even in small or restricted spaces.
Additional options such as a hood and 3' 11" drop-down valance, make this awning adaptable to many different conditions and situations. The Premium awning is available in any size width up to 30 feet, with projections up to 13' 1".
Convenient and attractive options such as motorization, sun and wind sensors, and remote control make the Premium Retractable Awning very convenient to operate and ideal for patios, decks, and other large sitting areas that require shade and sun protection.

Awning Specification
High-quality, folding arm awning with operating handle and Sunbrella cover. Manual retraction and extension with detachable operating handle. Bevel gearbox with gearbox reduction 4,5:1 and integrated end stop, free wheel operating handle ring incl. spring heavy duty roller tube gudgeon, with octagonal pin for smooth permanent cover tension. Roller tube made of galvanized steel with groove for the cover mount. Continuous triangular steel mounting bar, protected against corrosion, powder coated, to hold the arm mounts, roller tube support, brackets, bearing for gearbox and idler end. Front rail made of extruded aluminum multiple chamber profile with rainwater nose. Awning track grooves for the simple installation of Sunbrella awning cover and valance. Track mount for the folding arms are made from extruded aluminum, with precision joints made from aluminum casting. Integrated spring and double stainless steel cables tensioning system assures maximized tension on Sunbrella cover, plus cable protection over the middle joint. Arm supports made of aluminum casting with integrated knock-up security. Drop adjustment via octagonal screw from horizontal up to 60° provides plenty of installation flexibility. Installation brackets made of dye cast alloy for wall or ceiling/soffit mounting. (optional brackets available for rafters). Operating handle powder coated matching the standard colors, with hook and plastic handle.
Option electric drive: Tubular AC motor 240V/60Hz Somfy STS radio with electronic end stop. Thermal protection. Protection class IP54 (splash water), with 1' 7" - 4'11", 4-pole connection cable.
Option Hood and End Caps: the top hood made of extruded aluminum is fixed to the mounting bar and protects the awning fabric against mother nature.
0° – 60° wall mount, top mount and rafter installation drop angle.
Awnings arrive completely assembled with cover.
