WARRANTY & RETURNS
Our awning website was designed to inform our customers about retractable awnings how they work, how to install and what to expect.

We want you to learn what you need to know to make an informed decision about your retractable awning purchase.

RETURNS
We want you to be completely satisfied with your Sundown retractable awning purchase. Legends Direct, Inc. stands behind its products and will remedy any defect in manufacturing and/or workmanship by repairing or replacing at our discretion. OEM Manufacturers Warranty applies in many cases and Legends Direct, Inc. will be happy to assist you with any OEM warranty issues you may experience.

Legends Direct produces custom-made awnings as ordered by a customer. We accept the order and process it based on the specifications provided our customer. Once the fabrication begins we cannot accept cancellations or returns as we have fully committed to produce your custom awning. We carefully review the details of your order to insure each of us understands the specifications and it is our desire to meet all of your expectations.

Cancellations: We cannot cancel your order after it has been in processing or already shipped.

WARRANTY
This warranty covers the SunDown Collection of awnings from all defects in material and workmanship when operating under normal conditions.

Sundown Retractable awnings and Window awnings: Six-year manufacturer's limited warranty.

Fabric: Five-year manufacturer's limited (prorated) warranty
Motors: Five-year manufacturer's limited (prorated) warranty
Sensors: One-year manufacturer's limited (prorated) warranty

The aluminum frame and associated frame components, excluding electric motors, miscellaneous electronics, and fabric are warranted for a period of six years from the original date of purchase. This shall be in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The fabric, electric motors and other miscellaneous electronic components carry a separate manufacturers limited warranty.

During the warranty period, and upon confirmation of purchase, the defective part or parts will be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Legends Direct, Inc. and/or the manufacturer. All freight to and from the manufacturer is to be paid by the customer. Under no circumstances will Legends Direct, Inc. be responsible for any expense in connection with repairs made by anyone other than the manufacturer and/or Legends Direct, Inc.

 

Repairs not under warranty will be at such cost as the manufacturer and/or Legends Direct, Inc. may from time to time generally establish. This warranty will not apply if the product has been misused, abused, altered or installed improperly. This warranty cannot be transferred or assigned by the customer.

This warranty does not apply to damage to the awning by acts of nature, including but not limited to hurricanes, gales, tornadoes, snow, sleet, hail, heavy rain, heavy winds, flood, monsoons, fires, vandalism, or accumulated weight on the awning.
In no event shall Legends Direct, Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages from the sale or use of the product. This disclaimer applies both during and after the term of this warranty.

This warranty and all other terms and conditions will be interpreted under the laws of the State of Florida in the United States of America. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
