Awning Description
There’s no better way to dress up your home or storefront and provide shade and rain protection than with our Retractable Window Awnings and Door Awnings!
Drop-arm, retractable window awnings are ideal for shading windows and doors and providing shelter from inclement weather. The sloping fabric cover offers an unobstructed view and allows for open door or window fresh air circulation, even in the rain. Our Retractable Window Awnings and Door Awnings can be made with Sunbrella fabric or a wide variety of screen mesh fabrics. These attractive awnings come complete with an integrated hood and end caps that protect the fabric and allow for easy wall or top installation.
The projection angle can be easily adjusted from 0° to 170°, providing the perfect combination of light control and rain protection. The lateral aluminum drop arms, with powerful integrated spring system, assure proper tensioning of the cover fabric, preventing flapping in windy conditions.
Retractable Window and Door Awnings are operated with a standard removable crank and smooth-running bevel gear, or add an optional Somfy electric motor and sun and wind sensors for automatic, worry- free control.

Awning Specification
A drop arm window or door awning lower and retract using a self oiling worm gearbox with a 4:1 reduction and free wheel gudgeon with end stop. Includes Sunbrella fabric cover and valance. Removable powder coated crank handle operates the awning. Roller tube is made of galvanized steel with groove for the cover installation. Drop arms are made of powder coated, extruded aluminum hollow profiles, with integrated tension springs for a projection angle range from 0° to 170°. Joint for the arm mount is made of aluminum casting, powder coated, for wall installation. Roller tube idler end is made of plastic, with steel ball bearing for 12mm pin, and supports the roller tube. Box profile made of extruded aluminum, powder coated, to hold the roller tube and mount the gearbox. The powder coated front rail is made of extruded hollow aluminum to hold the cover and valance, with side caps.
Option electric drive: Tubular AC motor 120V/60Hz Somfy RTS with electronic stop adjustment and auto reset thermal protection. Available with optional remote control and Sun and Wind sensors.
